Today is Texture Tuesday and I present my “one thing”.
To explain … the “one thing” is a prompt in The Studio|Online whereby we choose one item and use it in a series of photos.
I’m currently working on a series of plate images and decided to use the burnt old cookie sheet I found at a garage sale as a background.
I’m happy enough with these, but my plan is to set up and shoot 4 different plates at the same time, with the same light, and apply the same processing to each one. This prompt is very inspiring and also grounding … as long as my background stays the same I can play and play and play …
I’ve used this background many times before …
… with lots of different elements …
… and I’m feeling more and more inspired! So strange how that is—it’s the same thing over and over—but different each time.
